Founded in 1979, Samitivej Hospitals is one of the leading private hospital groups in Thailand, the main facility Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital located on Sukhumvit Road Soi 49, considered one of the leading private hospitals in South-East Asia. Samitivej Sri-Nakarin located on the east side of Bangkok along the Srinakarin and Rama IX roads. Samitivej Srinakarin, in July 2003, opened the Samitivej Srinakarin Children's Hospital, the first of its kind in Thailand.
